Donna Davies – Radio Forth Valley

The founders of Root Cause Clinical, Wil and Victoria, were invited to discuss the telehealth and hair loss with Donna Davies, radio broadcaster and interviewer.

Donna is a warm, inviting host, so it was an enjoyable experience where she played a special playlist, chatting in between songs, and answering some listener questions.

Wil discussed his journey from hair stylist to trichology, providing some examples from clients who have been experiencing hair loss and scalp issues. Young men, as young as fifteen, are incredibly anxious about their hair. The holistic approach of treating hair conditions were discussed, with factors relating to nutrition, mental health, lifestyle as well as genetics. Most importantly our trichologists ensure an empathetic approach to consultations.

He talked about the importance of science in trichology and using client data to ensure an informed likely diagnosis.

Victoria discussed the technology side, and making the client journey as seamless as possible while relying on the science from trichological practices. Root Cause Clinical clients have ranged from North Carolina to Hong Kong, showing the ability to help people from near and far. All done from the comfort of people’s own homes.

She also discussed how they developed the Root Cause Clinical protocols, including investing time and money in the Research and Development stage of the business, working with a number of trial clients, which included herself. This helped identify the motives and benefits of people seeking support.
